LightForce Appoints James Lawton as President

WILMINGTON, MA. (July 2025) – LightForce, the creator of the world’s first fully personalized 3D printed braces, today announced the appointment of James Lawton as President. A proven technology leader with deep expertise in robotics and scaling high-growth organizations, James’s leadership will enable LightForce to scale faster, including bringing new innovations to market later this year, with even more coming in 2026.

Lawton most recently served in senior leadership at Walmart Advanced Systems and Robotics, an in-house solution provider of automated fulfillment using omnidirectional robots. With a background spanning startups and public companies, Lawton brings to LightForce a focus on turning advanced technologies into practical solutions that improve how people work and live.
